Voice Lessons with Rajan (Sundays)

Learn raga music: Ragas are like the varying emotions of life expressed through musical notes and tones. Indian music has developed innumerable such musical modes that reflect the spectrum of human experience from love to fear, anger to compassion, the seasons, times of day — life itself in its many aspects.  In these classes, we will not merely learn the grammar of Indian music but how to relate it creatively to life.  

Singing Lessons: In this class you can learn the basics of voice development, recognizing notes and ragas, and weaving these skills into compositions set to particular ragas and rhythmic cycles. Kirtans also taught.

About Rajan: RAJAN is an Internationally renowned World music composer and Indian Classical flute.  Rajan has composed music for films, documentaries, Ballet, Multimedia productions, Dance productions and have received Honors and Awards from Govt of France and Govt of India and many private Organizations. He has presented Flute concerts in many International Music festival round the globe.  One of the senior Yoga expert of Atlanta, Graham Fowler is a student of Rajan and always invites Rajan to play bamboo flute during yoga teacher graduation ceremonies.
