About The Event
Join us at The Well of Roswell for an afternoon of celebrating visual artist Gail Ruth Tate and her current exhibit.
Here is Gail's bio:
I’m a visual artist based in Marietta, GA, originally from New York. After a non-linear path through technology sales and creative robotics—roles that shaped my approach to problem-solving and experimentation—I now work primarily in oil painting.
Deeply influenced by Impressionism and my classical music training, I paint to music, allowing rhythm and emotion to guide composition, color, and atmosphere.
My practice emphasizes mood, movement, and evocative feeling over literal explanation, grounded in training with Chris diDomizio, Margaret Dyer, and a mentorship with James Richards.
My work has appeared in juried shows at the Portrait Society of Atlanta and in local galleries including ART Station, Cumming Arts Center, and Alpharetta Arts Center.
