Thai Body Work | Sound Baths | Private Yoga
In 2015, Rising found yoga and meditation as a way to help manage stress. Through the years, she fell in and out of regular practice and recommitted to her yoga and meditation journey in 2022 - this time to help manage the physical pain she was experiencing from sitting at a desk job for long periods. After 16 years of a corporate career, Rising finally left the corporate world in 2023 and followed her heart into the wellness space. She is now a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), certified Thai body work practitioner, sound bath facilitator, and intuitive artist.
After years of managing her own pain, Rising is passionate about helping her clients feel at home in their bodies through the modality of Thai body work. During a Thai body work session, the client wears loose, comfortable clothing and lies on a padded mat on the floor. Rising moves the client's body through a series of postures and stretches, combined with compression of the muscles and connective tissue along the Sen energy lines. After the end of sessions, clients often report feeling both relaxed and energized at the same time, and an openness in the body. Rising also offers sound baths as an add-on to her sessions, allowing her clients additional time to relax and bask in the effects of the body work, along with the vibrations of ceramic singing bowls and Koshi chimes.
